1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to OpenOne (package name com.openone.viewer), an offline-first file viewer for Android provided by the OpenOne developer.
2. Information we process
OpenOne requires no account and does not send document contents to a developer server. The app may connect to the internet to provide and measure advertising.
- Documents and folders are limited to items you select and are processed on device.
- Recent-file references, favorites, reading positions, language, and theme preferences are stored locally.
- A third-party advertising SDK may process an advertising ID, device and app information, IP address, and ad impression or click data for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Selected or captured images are processed locally and are not sent to the advertising service.
3. How information is used
Selected content is used only to provide file viewing features. Advertising information may be used to deliver and measure ads. Document contents are not used for advertising, profiling, artificial-intelligence training, or sale to third parties.
4. Device access and permissions
OpenOne uses Android’s Storage Access Framework. You decide which file or folder to grant access to, and Android controls that access. Opening or sharing a file with another app may transfer it to the app you choose, whose own privacy policy then applies.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Documents remain in the storage location you chose. OpenOne stores preferences and viewing history locally for as long as the app remains installed or until you clear the relevant history or app data. You can revoke folder access in Android settings, clear recent history in OpenOne, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling OpenOne does not delete your original documents.
6. Advertising and third parties
OpenOne may use a third-party advertising SDK to serve ads. The advertising service provider may process advertising information under its own policies. OpenOne does not provide document contents to advertising providers. When you use Share or Open in another app, Android sends the selected file only to the destination you choose.
7. Security
OpenOne uses read-only previews and does not execute document macros, PDF JavaScript, HTML scripts, or APK installation code. Archive limits and path checks reduce risks from malformed files. No software can guarantee absolute security, so keep Android updated and open files only from sources you trust.
8. Children’s privacy and international users
OpenOne is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect information from children. Processing takes place on the user’s device rather than on developer-operated servers.
9. Changes and contact
If app data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated before or when the change takes effect. For privacy questions, contact naorum.studio@gmail.com. Before publication, the publisher should verify that this contact method and the Google Play Data safety form match the released build.
